Financial aid help

Hey guys i think i checked off the box for financial but i realized that my family doesn't really qualify for it so is there anyway to tell the colleges that i don't need it more. I did not fill out the css profile or any forms about it yet. And how much does not applying for financial aid affect admissions?

Uh. Unless you're a millionaire, you should probably apply for SOME financial aid.
If you're talking about being internat'l it's possible you could get institutional aid, in which case, you still need to apply.

no i am not international, but if my family makes over 150k a year doesn't that mean that we will get zero to no financial aid?

Fresh- No. It doesn't. The worst that can happen if you apply for FA is you don't get any. The best thing that can happen is you get some amount of money or loans that will help in the long run.
