In which order do they look at applications?

If it's not rolling admissions, do they look at the applications by first come first serve/last name first/locations?

Anyone know? I know all colleges are different but does anyone know specifics for schools like villanova or nyu?

Yes, because I sent mine late - a few days before the deadline - so I would have a lesser chance if they read the applications by who sends theirs in first. But if it was alphabetical I would have a fair chance.

Obviously it matters enough for me to post it. Don't be rude.

As long as you sent your application in on time, it won't make a big difference. I know some schools (Harvard) read their applications in the order they receive them (at least to some extent). Since NYU is such a large school, they probably read them based on geographic regions. Don't worry about it though, it's not going to make a difference in admissions. Unless a school is rolling admissions, sending your application early doesn't make a difference that is worth worrying about.

Good luck!

Relax and good luck; You should be fine.

Nova and NYU, by the way, are VERY different--one is extremely sports oriented, the other not at all; one has a Catholic culture, the other Jewish; one has a gorgeous campus, one is in the city; one is conservative politically, the other very liberal; one is very practical, the other very artsy.

hahaha This I know very much. Thank you.

But actually, I though NYU did not have a religious culture. I didn't know it's Jewish. Do you have any other information about that? I don't really care but I'd like to know =)

Centralpark - yabeyabe2 was merely referring to the fact that there are probably more Jews at NYU than your average university. But it is not at all "Jewish" to the extent that Nova is Catholic.

Yeah, I figured. It doesn't really matter anyway. I'm applying to such a broad range of schools, some with religious focuses and some without. Thanks though!
