I saw my Rec form and I'm paranoid.

My AP Calc BC teacher gave me good scores but it was all top 5% except top 1% for 3: integrity, writing abilities, and reaction to setbacks. His only one less than that was top 10% for maturity.

These are all very great and all, but I'm confused as to why he marked my maturity down compared to everything else. If a college looks at that, do I come off as relatively immature if they use top 5% as the norm for my other qualities?

I don't even know how he knows that I am a good writer or anything. However he does know that I do have a significant amount of leadership positions and influence over school clubs and activities, yet I was marked lower for that than I was integrity.

I don't know what to make of it. What do you think?

Top 10% is great. Marking you down as top 1-3% for everything is probably not credible. Your application - anywhere - is not undermined by this.

thanks guys. I'm trying to figure out how teachers rank based on things like "integrity." Academic integrity? As in I don't cheat?

Anyway, thanks for the reassurance.

How did you see this form? Did he just give it to you or did you ask?
