How to switch from ED to RD

I applied to Johns Hopkins ED and I would like to switch to regular decision because I decided that it might not be the best fit for me. How could I go about doing this? I haven't gotten a decision back so it's not like I'm backing out of the binding contract because they haven't admitted me yet. Is there a way to request a switch to regular decision?

Contact JHU admissions office Monday morning by phone, and explain your request. They will probably ask for a written, signed confirmation of the change. You could also send an email immediately, in the hopes someone is in the office on Saturday, but still call Monday and ask.
