2nd Language needed?

Heyz ppl

Im currently in gr.11 and taking mandarin as my 2nd language. For gr12, I was wondering whether its vital to take gr12 mandarin. Im going to be applying to certain ivy's, so I wasn't sure if not having a gr12 level 2nd language would affect me chances too much. Some extra info: My gpa's around 4.6 and planning on taking a total of 7 APs. EC's are covered pretty well.

How many language credits will you have by graduation? Is this your first year taking mandarin?
For ivy`s, they usually want 3 to 4 years of the same language. It would be a good idea to take mandarin next year as well.

by the end of gr11, i'll have taken 3 years of mand.
I also got 2 years of french =/ .

IMO, unless you have some major schedule conflicts, then I highly suggest you do another year of mandarin because the Ivys usually want 4 years of language.
