Rumor has it if you go into where you can see the status of your application, there is a way to see if you've been given an email address. If so, congrats!

ITtwas mentioned offhand my someone at breakfast today, that their dau had gone to whatever page she had to ck on the status of her application, and somehow there was a way to see that she was given an email address. Sorry, I dont recall any more

3bysmom - I think I may have found a way. First, log-in to your CougarTrail account. On the left side under Personal Info, look for E-mail Addresses and Personal Web Page. Depending on how many e-mail addresses you supplied in the application, your new CofC address should be listed under number 3, 4, or maybe 5. Look for the address that follows his format: xxxxxxxxx@edisto.cofc.edu. I just checked mine today, and it said "active".

I'm not 100% sure that this is the right way to check, but I've not seen anything better yet.

mattbcole - I'm in the same boat as you. We can only hope for the best, but I think the active emails are a good sign.

i think i found the fool-proof way! look under tuition and housing information in your cougar trail account. You'll find it on the right side of the page. You can see your status of acceptance right there. I got accepted, congrats and good luck to all of you too!

I checked there too. It said I was accepted but it didnt show another e-mail under my e-mail contact info. It allowed me to pay tuition though.
