| Firefox or IE7 I just got my new notebook yesterday and already am seeing problems with my IE. On my desktop I use Firefox instead of IE, because my IE would always go slow or eventually freeze. Now I am seeing this problem on the 2nd day I just got my notebook! So now I went back to Firefox, which is going considerably faster than IE, and it hasn't froze once. I would like to hear some thoughts and opinions, and I want to know is Firefox really that much better, and does anybody experience the same problems as I do? |

| Firefox of course. That's the only right answer to this question.
You'd think the largest, richest corporation in the world with essentially a monopoly on operating systems and certain software would be able to make something better than a crappy browser that does a crappy job of imitating Firefox. |

With that extension, there's no page that you can't view with Firefox. And Firefox is worlds better than IE. Not to mention safer. Since I started using Firefox, I've had essentially no spyware or adware attack my computer. |

| I go through road-runner with IE, and it's fine. I get some spyware, but my PC-cillan clears it up fine. |

| I love Firefox. It rarely gives me problems, and if there's a webpage I have to use with IE, I have the extensions that allow me to view it in IE tab or to open it up in a new IE window. I love the other extensions I have as well, including Scrapbook, which allows me to save a webpage (so I can read it offline and because it stays the same even if the webpage changes) and AdBlock, which makes it so ads don't even show up on my screen. |

| Firefox is much better than IE on almost all accounts. The only thing I've noticed is that Firefox takes a longer time to initially load, but once it loads it doesn't freeze up, whereas IE will appear to load completely but when you click the address bar it freezes, at least in my experience.
