architecture computer

Can anyone recommend the best type of computer for architecture? Mac vs. PC, does it need huge memory or anything else special?

My friend's dad is an architect. He has a mac and two pretty big screens for it. I don't know if Macs are especially good for architecture or if it's just his preference, though.

depends on what school you're going to. cal poly is mac oriented so they recommend getting a macbook pro. so look into whatever the school you wanna go to uses and go from there. and yes, memory is important.
