tablet pc's anyone?

I'm going to be a biology major with premed this fall and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good tablet laptop, preferrably on the smaller end, a la HP Presario tx2500z and some kind of deal that gets me a free or discounted printer. I'm planning on taking a majority of my science class notes on a tablet, what with the diagrams and all. Any thoughts?

That's the HP I was thinking about getting as well. It's supposed to provide pretty good battery life if you get a 9-cell battery.

mm the only thing I worry about is the overheating issue one of the reviewers mentioned and the loud fan. I'm going to a relatively small school (about 2500 students) and most of the classrooms are fairly small. What I'm also wondering about is longevity: is this the type of pc that'll peter out after a few years?

If you're worried about durability look at the Lenovo thinkpads. They last forever and will take a beating and keep on ticking.
