Locking dorm printer

Hi all,
I'm moving into my dorm room as a freshman next week. I'm bringing a Kensington lock to secure my laptop in the room (hopefully I'll find something to attach it to), but I'm trying to plan a way to lock down a small laser printer as well. Anyone have any ideas or experience with this (or know of a printer that has a lock port)?

Thanks!

Why? Printer theft is so rare.

Airplane crashes are also rare, but airplanes still have flotation devices

I don't think you're going to have an issue with this. I've never seen a printer with a lock port and never heard of anyone getting a printer stolen. With the price of printers it could cost more than half the price of the printer to get a lock, too. If you lock your room you won't have any problems, but even in the incredibly rare instance where you leave it unlocked and somebody goes around stealing **** I think a printer is generally more trouble to take than it's worth.

Try something like this:
Computer Cable Lock T1 - Computer Security Cable - PC Security Cable
Pick one of the attachment methods that will work with your printer.

This might also work, but would be a hassle to thread the cable every time you took your computer and lock with you.

Printers don't cost THAT much. As long as you lock your door you should be fine.

That's actually psychological. The chances of an aircraft landing on water and floating intact are really small. Aircraft tend to breakup upon contact with water.

Anyways, I think Kensington makes some locks.

For printers: MicroSaver® Keyed Duo Lock - K67721US - Kensington

You might also want to consider getting a safety deposit box to lock your paper and pencils too.

In all seriousness, I'd agree it's more trouble than it's worth.
