The bug, which is being fixed in a maintenance release already circulating in beta, is ONLY if you had a pre-existing guest account before installing Snow Leopard and then log in to that guest account and then it's not a 100% reproducible bug.

So if you don't have a guest account set up on your machine, then you don't have an issue and if you do have a guest account, don't log in to it. You can always delete the guest account and create a new one.
