Are college students allowed to watch pornography and masturbate in the dorms in their rooms?

I know it happens, and my assumption was always that it is allowed.

I guess its more of a computer-internet agreement usage kind of question?

You need to see your RA and get special permission, at many colleges they recommend a letter from your parents or pastor. But some places do give medical exceptions for health related reasons. At most elites, the porn channels actually come with your internet package for a small extra cost. You should enquire about this at you admissions interview. Let them know what your interests are.

It depends on the school. If you are attending a school affiliated with a religion, it is a thoughtcrime and you will be grounds for expulsion. Otherwise, see the dean for a masturbation permit. Like speedo said, you need to pay extra to watch porn, or else your IP address will be blocked. I'd suggest that if you get the permit pay for the extra package as well. Your permit will most likely be wasted without access to the porn channels.

hmm that's strange, usually you have to have more than a permission slip from your mom or pastor. at most colleges, i thought, you have to apply for a permit in front of the student council. it's a pretty long, drawn-out affair, and the permits are usually very hard to get

I would first inform your high school guidance counselor so that it can appear on your transcript. The college will need to know your daily habits in order to assign you one of the special porn and masturbation rooms. Also to get you a roommate who has similar habits. Make sure you write that on the roommate data sheet too. And if there is a specific style of porn you like, straight, gay, amateurs etc, it's important to get the details down on paper. These days most colleges will bend over backwards to accomodate you so don't be afraid to "let it all hang out".
