Birthday present ideas!

I need to buy my mom a birthday present, and I'm going to buy it after school tomorrow. Any ideas?! Thanks!

She's going out to dinner with my dad and their adult friends.

In that case... buy her a necklace or something she can wear out to dinner? I'm not sure what your mom likes, so that's one idea.

I was thinking about buying her some sort of nice sweatshirt or something. Not sure though. I don't blame you for not knowing what my mom likes lol..

How about buying a lot of Twinkle Candy to make a Twinkle Candy bouquet and then give her a hand-made card to go with it? (I'm a sucker for candy bouquets!)

did she mention annything she wanted in the last 2 weeks?
I bought my mum a yoga ball because i noticed how she was always talking about pilates and yoga and how she wants to get into it. and when we went shopping, she used to be like, "hmm maybe i should buy this ygoa dvd..etc.."

it's not an 'i-love-you' object but it's something she wanted. And she always uses it.. (and maybe she thinks of me a bit when she uses it lol) It kinda showed that i don't only think and talk about myself (like most teens).. and that i listen to her problems and stories also.

lol...

I'd want either:

--High-Carbon steel Katana, Clay-tempered edge, standard differential hardness of 40 and 60 HC between the sharp and the dull end, Full Tang (a must-have), folded steel (6-8 times), and preferably hand-forged. 75 cm blade length.

--OR--

--72 cm blade Jian: Central Titanium Chord, Medium-Carbon Steel with high-carbon steel edges that have been water tempered (central body medium-carbon steel should be folded 2-3 times), Full Tang that connects the blade to the pommel (Tang and pommel made of 440 Stainless Steel), short red tassel, preferably hand-forged.

Those are MY dream b-day presents.

Unfortunately, I'm not your mom

Also, the katana would cost anywhere from 800-3000 dollars while the Jian would cost anywhere from 500-22,000 dollars (depending on the swordsmith). Not exactly something that most people can afford

I ended up getting her a baby blue color sweater. It's really soft and feels a little like cashmir. I got a birthday card, chocolate-covered pretzels, and a small cake too!

Thanks for the suggestions!
