Can you put this on a resume?

Currently I am teaching myself python the computer language. Can I put down that I am currently doing it or do I have to wait until finish and can somewhat maneuver it? In other words can I put down an unfinished skill?

You can put down whatever you want in your resume as long as it's true.

You can if you want, but it should be very clear that you are currently learning python, and that you are not yet proficient.

The best way to phrase this would be "familiar with Python" and if asked, mention the specifics and that your skill will likely be higher by time X, etc.
