Countdown to Titan!

THis is a 3rd-grade dream come true! I've been waiting too long! Today, Jan. 11th. Isn't Huygens going to arrive by Jan. 14th? Please post links and URLs inthis thread as well: I'm eager to see Titan close-up!!!!

He's talking about a space probe. The Cassini probe (visiting Saturn) is releasing a smaller probe (Huygen's) into Titan's (a moon of Saturn) atmosphere. If all goes well, we may get some interesting findings.

If you're interested, check out NASA's site for the mission: http://saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/home/index.cfm

I attended a lecture called "The Rings of Saturn" at Caltech's Jet Propulsion Laboratories about this Cassini-Huygen's probe thing. It was really boring. I fell asleep. I wanted to shoot myself.
