I Admire Paris Hilton & Tyra Banks [Yah] "Fo' real"

Ok yeah, I know what you're thinking "Did he just say he admires one of the most notorious celebrities on TV" and............Tyra.
Well, to be clear, yes, I admire them. Why?

Simply because Paris Hilton, no matter how many times the media criticize her for being a party-hardy female and how unattractive it is, she still goes and have FUN!!!!. She still does her thing and doesn't care what the media nor people say about her! She still goes to have fun! In my opinion, this is how the world should be! I mean theres a limit to everything you do, but then again you shouldn't care what anybody else thinks!

Tyra Banks is on my good side solely because yes, she speaks sophisticated English (especially if you watch ANTM) but she doesn't hide her ghetto-ness, or her wild "I'm a B****y Dive side" My Point?

SHES NOT FAKE!!! She doesn't put on a fake incognito!! There are some celebritys who act one way in front of cameras but ist when they are behind closed that they really elicit their true persona. Tyra Banks doesn't put on a front to impress anybody and I admire that.

These are what I call the "No BS, I don't give a rats a** what you say because I'm still shining" kind of people.

(Don't get me wrong, I don't idolize them nor are they my role models but I do admire them alot) Get the difference?

Heres my own experience.
I'm a person that never wears school uniform on Mondays & Fridays. Don't ask me why. Its just something innate. Probably the New York City attitude. Don't really know
Ok, so there was a Human Rights event coming up at my school. On a monday. What a coincidence. My anti-uniform day!

Principal: Everybody must wear Uniform on this day. You Must dress professional for the speakers (announcement on loud speaker)

Cheryl: well I'm not coming in uniform. F%&^$ that!

Class: Blah blah blah on uniform

So.Au: Ditto Cheryl! (inner thought)

Human Rights Day!
"Young man why aren't you in uniform"? says Principal Alexander!"Don't feel like it" in a soft voice and walked away slowly. "Young man Come here" but instead, I started mumbling and ignored him. ummm no, I didn't get suspended either LM(Stubborn)AO.

My point? I'm not going to wear something just to put up a front to people I'm likely to not see again. I can care less about impressing these people.
I mean, yeah there are some times where you do have to put up a front to "fit in". Like the business world and publicly speaking (especially if you're president) but then again, to me thats different.
The world doesn't have to conform to putting up a front or being Fake! What relaly matters to me is the knowledge that dwells in my brain!

I would like to know what other people think about this. Especially if I informed you. This is all my opinion so yeah, its ok to disagree with my ideas. Just be nice and no HOT FLAMES!

Your post is too short to read.

The point regarding certain celebrities is a decent one - it doesn't mean I like them overall, but I can respect that they're not trying to pretend what they're not.

Your whole uniform thing is just dumb though. That's not about hiding who you are, it's not about being oppressed, or any of that ****, It's about you trying to randomly rebel, and coming across looking like a stupid, snotty teenager.

^ You're from Toronto. I'm assuming you mean the Toronto in Canada, not the one in Texas. I'm from Toronto. What high school did you go to?

10f42, I'm not trying to rebel or act snotty in anyway. I hate the school uniform with a passion Like I said, Its just something innate that makes me not want to wear the uniform on Mondays & Fridays.

"Your whole uniform thing is just dumb though. That's not about hiding who you are, it's not about being oppressed, or any of that ****."

My statement was made because the principal wanted us to look "Pro" in front of people. I really wasn't with that because If its not how I dress on a daily basis, then I'm certainly not tweaking it for a group of people. Probably in the work force but no this.

(don't get me wrong, I'm well dressed though but you already get the gist)

It's a school policy. I'm surprised they let you get away with that. You agree to the policy when you agree to attend.
