Wow, I was going to post the offensive PM I received fro HRH Zipper, but he did it for me. Please see the post above mine for a verbatim. Just substitute gprime for davnasca.
I will now address his points:
"Also, if I am the "dumbest person in the world" how did I take 6 college courses when I'm only 17. "
Anyone can take courses at a local community college. I have taken about 12 college courses and I am 17. I MOST CERTAINLY DO NOT count myself among the likes of Einstein and Chomsky.
"I also won semens semifinalist two times. And won National AP Scholar."
You misspelled Siemens, real convincing there.
"Also, you guys who think that I'm so dumb and criticize and mock me DONT HAVE TO POST IN THIS THREAD."
You wanna go to Harvard buddy? You better start defending your crack brained ideas and but quick (with more than " I am a genius" or "my psych prof liked it"). They will tear your arrogant, ignorant ass apart at a Community College, let alone Harvard. You want to spread your ideology, your gonna deal with questions, now is a goos time to start answering them.

Also, all you who make fun of me clearly find my comments very mentally stimulating. Thus, you are subconscious admiring my genius.
However, you are very jealous that your intelligence does not ever rival mine--who of you got my awards? Thats right, non of you.
You all are very unsuccessful in life, suffer from inferiority complexes, and are jealous of people who are better than you are.
But still, you post because you admire my ideas so much.

You took six college courses? I took nine. People that are not even in the top ten percent at my school have more college credits than you. What's your point? AP Scholar? Everyone gets that. Nothing special. Pfft. Don't think too highly of yourself. You want to go to Harvard, yet you've listed things that all people applying to Harvard have. And there you go again, spewing nonsense. You say a lot, yet you haven't said one thing to defend youself from the points we've made.
Edit: I got the same PM, only at the end, he added "Moron, looser" to it. At least *I* can spell loser.

And yet I know at least three people that have never made less than a four on an AP test. Listing your academics isn't going to make you seem smarter, it's only doing the opposite.

I received another PM identical to the post (edit) four above mine with the oh-so-elegant appellation "Apology, Truce?".
"You all are very unsuccessful in life, suffer from inferiority complexes, and are jealous of people who are better than you are."
Zipper, you are the one who suffers from an inferiority complex. You are the one who feels the need to compensate for you lack of something by creating an internet riot about your wish to impose your will and ideology on the whole world. Furthermore, I am most certainly not jealous of a person with your aggressive, yet ignorant attitude, lack of grammar, lack of rhetorical skills, and ridiculous ideas and ambitions.

Hi all!
Also, you guys who think that I'm so dumb and criticize and mock me DONT HAVE TO POST IN THIS THREAD.
If you think I'm stupid, stop posting. Also I know English really well--I got a 5 on the AP Test
Also, just because I have good self confidence doesn't mean you can make fun of me for that.
Finally, I say to make a truce. I apologize for sometimes being pretentious and for the criticism. Best of luck to all!

we don't need to bash him for his system, it was well thought out and may work under ideal circumstances. Unfortunantly our world is far from ideal and requires a more practical and diverse approach.
If i were working on ideals i could easily say: Kids got to free elementary schools than after that everybody just takes tests to test into "mini level colleges" in a wide range of fields from music to math to blah. And as they move up in level, they get more narrowed in on a major. So all kids are specialized by the time they're 25.
ex) billy is 10 and he tests into a science major at the top level school. When he's 13 is tests into the biology school, when he's 16 he tests into the medical school, when he's 20 he tests into the surgeon school, and when he's 23 he tests into the plastic/facial reconstructive school for a year, then becomes a plastic surgeon.
(unfotunantly kids change there minds and you have to find a way to motivate them other than they simply won't get to the next school.)
There is no "perfect" education system. You just have to start with a good one, then patch in places where it lacks until you have a great one.

^^^^^ Thank you very much for your view. My system is well thought of, and I believe that it will work rather well when implemented. Of course, I am not perfect, so thoughtful criticism is beneficial, like Tyler09's comment.

"I took a total of 16 college courses of you include dual credit.
You can't compare with me, you frustrated freak.
Truce?"
PM from Zipper^
This is what I "bash" him for. I "bash" Zipper because he is exceedingly arrogant and has yet to offer any argument in favor of his idea other than "My psych prof liked it" or "I AM A GENIUS".
And no Zipper, no truce. I am not going to start appeasement now; didn't so hot pre-WWII. Nope, your gonna have to fight for this Sudetenland. Convince me, why is your educational program better?

All you've done Zipper is go off in another topic about how you're so much better than us and have all these awards, as though that makes you better than us. Let you haven't said anything valid about why your system is so good.

Dear, davnasca, I would like a truce; this is only an internet argument.
Reasons my idea is great:
1. Kids develop a love for learning.
2. No over justification. Kids learn because they want to.
3. Lots of parent involvement. For those who have no parents, they will get a personal tutor.
4. Kids have to do research and papers.
5. Kids have to have discussions with a professor and other students.
6. Very interactive computer. No one is board or left behind. The kids also have text books, tutors, and other material if they need help.
7. A society based around learning, not materialism.
8. Waste less time in school. Current school is a big waste of time.
9. Learn the facts, by yourself, and discuss the facts and your opinion with others.
10. Study whatever subject interest you.
11. Very open to accommodation. If you cannot learn on the computer, then schools will be available.
12. Everyone can get a great education.
13. Everyone will be assigned a educational computer--you can touch the screen and stuff.
14. Free education. The government will pay for everything.
The government will have a monopoly on the financial system. Basic, necessary goods will be created by all people, and people will exchange from manual labor to intellectual activity. Yes, their will be independent companies, but basic goods will be community produced. Also, their will be respectful and kind labor laws, encouraging that all people--even adults--to engage in intellectual activity.
Thank you for your interest!
What do you think about my system?
Truce?

Just out of curiosity...where exactly are you going to put your communist plan into action? It'll *never* fly in the USA, that's for sure.

^^^^ Thank you very much for the link. I will read it.
I plan to implement my system in Asia or the Middle East. Your very right, my plan will not work in Western, Capitalistic cultures.
But do you like it?
Once again, sorry for anything I said that insulted you.

Here is an itemized list of my ripostes:
1) I and many of my peers already have a love for learning.
2) No mandatory education? In a society where all will be provided, where is the incentive for the non natural learners to put in the required effort?
3) It should be the kids "love for learning" that pushes them not parents. Helicopter parents= Bad!
4) Kids already have to do research and papers.
5) " " " discussions
6) No amount of computer interaction can replace a chemistry lab or music class.
7) I agree we need less materialism and more emphasis on education, however, I do not feel your methods are the best way to achieve that.
8) Create tracked schools. Eliminate NCLB and "teaching to the test". College will not be boring though, so keep that as is (well, except tuition...)
9) You can learn the facts independently already. People with the initiative to self study already do.
10) Tracked. Education.
11) Ok, now you are describing what we have now. You can take online courses (ie EPGY/ home school or go to a school. Its just that currently the latter is seen as a better option, thus more receive their education the "normal" way in a classroom.
12) Equal OPPORTUNITY in education is something we do need, and perhaps an online system could remedy. Notice I said opportunity, not simply equal education. People are different and should get different educations based on skills, but should all have the same opportunity to go to the "best" schools.
For example, we are all born with an equal chance to go to Harvard, but only few are smart enough to make it.
13) I didn't want to say this but, with what money?
14) See above.
In conclusion, we have many of the same goals in our wish for educational reform. Namely, we believe in more individualized education. However, I feel that the best place to learn is in a traditional class room setting. Obviously you feel otherwise.
Lastly, I have one more very important question- if the government is paying education, do they decide curriculum? Would freedom to teach controversial things and new ideas remain? Or would half the courses be entitled "Zipper, Einstein and Chomsky: Two Great Jews and Our Benevolent Despot" or "Zipper Zipper he's the man, if he can't ruin it- no one can!"
