Merci Beaucoup, College Confidential

When I started going on this site about a year and a half ago, I was like any other high school junior trying to figure out this admission game. I really didn't know what colleges to apply to, what tier I should strive for, or how to go about the process. I saw all those chances threads, the 2400s with the 4.0 gpas, and all i could think was wow, what have I gotten myself into to. I really asked myself if was good enough or even had the intelligence to apply to these schools that id always dreamed of attending.

A year and a half later, im an example of the successful College Confidential story. I applied early action to 4 schools and accepted at all:
UChicago(Attending)
UMich Engineering
SUNY Stony Brook
SUNY Binghamton

The most important thing I think CC taught me was that a person has to have reaches/matches/safeties. UChicago was probably not feasible when I began this admissions game as a junior, but because of the knowledgeable and insightful people here at CC, I was able to get into the school of my dreams. Thanks again,
Beefs.

That's a real tear-jerker.

I'm sorry. I like to ruin moments.

Congratulations.
