The Daily Show and The Colbert Report

completely self-indulgent to start this topic but I love these shows a lot.
and I am hoping other people around here love them too.

I am not searching to prevent duplicates or anything of the sort. mostly I just really wanted to make a topic about The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.

Both shows are pretty funny. Sometimes it's a little annoying when Stewart laughs at his own jokes.

I am not shy about saying I prefer Colbert to Stewart. but the shows just go together and I really enjoy them both. I watch Colbert every single night and The Daily Show I skip sometimes.

I remember watching Colbert (at 11:30pm) the day before the (morning) AP calc test and being like "hmmm, perhaps this is too much devotion to a television show..." but definitely didn't turn it off till it was done!

What's truly amazing is that some conservatives honestly believe that Colbert is one of them. It's sad actually. They're so desperate for comedic and creative talent. Ever watch "Half Hour News Hour" on FOX? Or Dennis Miller? *puke*

Both great shows. I admit I like Colbert report more though, simply because of the way he messes with the people he interviews lol.

I love Colbert. Stewart is okay sometimes, I can take him or leave him. But my brother and I LOVE the Colbert Report.

Colbert offers more devastating insight, whereas Stewart generally just mocks the already stupid comments made by people.

I do love them. I've seen them both in person.
I liked Jon Stewart better live, but like Colbert better on tv.

Stephen Colbert touched my right hand and I shall never forget. :')

Next show to see is Conan O'Brien.

Oh, and Colbert is super wrinkly in person which freaked me out.

Love them both. After watching the pundits on cable news pontificating and spinning to the extreme, it's refreshing to watch these guys burst the bubble and see the absurdity of so much of it.

Colbert is more outrageously funny, especially when he messes with his subjects, but Stewart is equally refreshing.
