As long as we're talking about perceptions, everyone thinks I'm lazy as hell and from California.

Just wait till people start asking you where you're going to school. It will start in like August. It's sooooo annoying.

Really? California?

Lawl. Everyone knows I'm going to Harvard, so I don't have to explain.

Yup. My dad has a west coast-ish accent from when he lived/worked in California, so I don't have the super flat a's Chicago accent. And I don't buy in to the ******** at my school where you have to ***** 24/7 about how hard you work to prove how smart you are, but I still do better than pretty much all those kids, so they think I'm way too "chill" about school. It's ridiculous, really.

We all know you're going to Harvard, snoop.

But Columbia is so much better, you know.

There's a west coast accent? I took one of those accent quizzes once and it said I have a west coast accent but it just sounds normal. And those asterisks are intriguing.

I have to wake up early, so good night, Canada and Chicago.

I don't think I have an accent, but I probably have some sort of Canadian drawl. Who knows.

My school is almost entirely uncompetitive. People just sort of don't care. Everyone who actually works in school is in the IB, and any competitive crap that might've existed before disappeared because there's just so much work. And the people who don't do the IB don't really care about anything. So.

I ordered The Picture of Dorian Gray and Lolita from the library, and I'm going to start reading Crime and Punishment. Fun.

I just started watching Dexter. I love summer.

Haha. Canadians don't have a drawl. You're confusing Ontario with Tennizzle. Canadians talk like Sarah Palin. You'll say you don't, but you'll be lying.

My area has an interesting mix of accents. Some people, like me, somehow have connections to eastern Ohio or Pennsylvania, so those people have more of a northeastern accent. Others, who are natives here, tend to talk like Chicagoans. And there are still others who for some reason or another talk like people from the Detroit area.

I have an idea. It's probably contrived and cute, BUT IT'S AN IDEA.

I don't know, why was six afraid of seven?

I do believe my idea is INGENIOUS. And if it isn't, lie to me.

Actually, it was seven that had an inferiority complex.

And you can't leave me out of this. I mastered the UChicago essays. Though that was probably an accident.
