This week will suck. Almost as much as this weekend sucked.
I'm praying that I get an excerpt from The Stranger by Albert Camus for my oral commentary. That book's the only one I fully, 100% understand. I have no idea what I'll do if I get an excerpt from one of Maupassant's short stories. I hate them. I can never find the "point" of any of them, and finding the author's intention is a huge part of the commentary.

My image of Albert Camus is forever tainted by Youth in Revolt.
I smell pot roast.

I've never read Youth in Revolt. What does it say about Camus?

The main character names his dog Camus, and that book is seven kinds of nasty, so draw the necessary conclusions.

| The Stranger was one of my favorite books. The purpose is incredibly frustrating though.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr novels. I'm on a temporary hiatus from any work over 200 pages or so in length. So Stephen King's books are currently off limits.

It's not so bad. The past few days have been kind of like one, since the band and choir kids who have misplaced priority disorder are in Florida, and not much has been happening in the meantime. And we get the Friday and Monday around Easter.
