Probably Cornell (mother's alma mater), Tuskegee (father's alma mater), or Yale (where my grandfather has said I'll go since I was born). And maybe Xavier, since it's right next to my house.
I think really, when I was 8 I was in my "when I grow up I want to be nothing" stage.

I just knew that "It's not IF you go to college, it's WHEN"

iirc around the formative years Georgia Tech or UGA looked appealing, state high profile sports schools and all.

I knew of three schools: Stanford, Harvard, and Northwestern.
I definitely wanted to go to Stanford for a very long time, but I don't remember if I wanted to go there/anywhere at age 8. Probably, though.

I wanted to skip college and live life with the royalties of my first novel (in progress at the time). Good times.

I'm pretty sure I couldn't even name a single college, let know what a college was.

I didn't even learn about MIT/Johns Hopkins/UC Berkeley/Cornell until late high school, and UPenn/Colombia/etc. until AFTER high school. I still don't know anything about Brown or Dartmouth. For most of my life, the only colleges I could name were Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, UCLA, and possibly UCI.
