Is the way these kids are brought up. They live in a little box and not being admitted to a college threatens to throw them out of their cozy box. This triggers a panic reflex.
Its never "what can I do for the college that is going to accept me and how can I learn to be a better person and give back to society and help others less fortunate?"
Its all, 'HELP ME HELP ME.....I HAVE 2300 SAT AND CANT FIND A COLLEGE!" What a bunch of garbage.
Extreme narcissism.
I wouldnt WANT to go to college with THOSE people if you PAID me. (and all the adults on here who give relentless ridiculous and elitist statistics to feed these narcissists more fuel.)
NONE OF THEM.
I would much rather help out kids with lower scores who want to make a difference in society and help people and aren't all wrapped up in THEMSELVES and whether they get into Stanford or Harvard or Princeton or UNAME IT University.
