Parents declared bankruptcy; effect on financial aid
Our business failed and we were forced into bankruptcy-what advice, input is out there in terms of how to prepare for financial aid application for our college bound daughter?
Financial Aid doesn't directly factor in bankruptcy at all. All that matters is income and assets. Obviously after filing for bankruptcy, you'll probably have less assets and income so that will help to get better financial aide.
