IMPORTANT: I need someones opinion!

This is about a memorable experience for UF, I literally started this like 8297 times. Is it good? thanks

With only 1 minute and 35 seconds to “wow” the judges, time was cherished. Perfection was what every Pop Warner cheerleader thrived for, especially at the Regional competition. 245 days to perfect a routine that would be judged once. It seems so painless, but when competing against 35 teams that were all aiming for 1st place, the odds become less likely. Well with all our drive and spirit the Panther Cheerleaders brought home the 1st place trophy that Thanksgiving night.

I was habitually number “1”, I was taught to be a winner and nothing less. I learned not to be a sore loser but of course, winning was always better then losing.
The accomplishment wasn’t winning the trophy, it was what I learned from the entire experience. I had to, learn how to condone 23 menstrual teenagers, represent an entire squad and spend 4 strenuous hours in the Florida heat lifting ponderous girls over my head, 5 times a week.
The years I spent cheerleading reconstructed my personality. I used to be tremendously shy and extremely dependent. Cheerleading really put me on the spot. I had to dance and shout in front of others. My coach always said “if you feel like you look foolish then you are doing a great job!” I have learned to be independent and to think for myself. I am much more opinionated and I’m not afraid to share my opinion with others. I also really like to engage with others. I have realized that there are so many different personalties in the world to discover and that everyone should be given a chance.
My experience was memorable, mostly because of all I gained from it. I will never forget standing on the competition mat waiting for our music to begin. It was the model ending to a seemingly endless season.
