Is my essay to short?

Here is the prompt:Please tell us a little bit about your interest in science and plans for the future in an attached essay. Please limit to no more than 750 words.

I wrote an essay and answered it fully, but my essay is only 340words. I honestly don't know how to make it longer though. Would it look bad if I submit an essay so short?

PS this is for a scholarship.

I suggest you use as close to the word count as possible. Add a detailed story or two showing, not telling, of our interest in science.
