What Matters Stanford Essay! Help me choose!

So I'm stuck between two "what matters to you" essays I wrote for Stanford. One was more well written but focuses on a general idea, whereas the second is more personal and snappy, but I'm not sure if it answers the prompt as well as the first one.

Could I send these two essays to any of your guys to get your opinions!? Thanks!
