Personal statement crisis

I am very annoyed!

I have written several common app personal essays that do not meet the standards of several college advisers at my school.

I need some topic advice. I can write about the following topics:

Passion for history( already have an essay written but I have expressed me interest in his throughout my supplement essays)

Media course I took( stepping out of my academic comfort zone already have two written)

Being a twin ( works better for supplements)

The job experience ($$$ issues and revelations about society...did not like it much though)

Lung procedure ( learned that joggling several things without a purpose or direction can lead to drastic failure and turmoil after a traumatic asthma attack and lung procedure)- I have not written this one yet only issue is it occurred when I was in 5th grade :/

Maybe explore a novel film political idea
I love the Color purple both book and film and I thought about writing about gentrification in my neighborhood w/o being to judgmental.

Should I find more ideas?

I would appreciate all the advice.

I would go with history, twinness (provided you can use it to ay something about your personality), or the last idea.

Your ideas have a lot of potential, so perhaps only the execution is lacking.
