no you shouldn't because you don't know if the reader is on what side, so he might hate you for your political view

....Sigh....either way, I'm thinking about political diversity and my passion for poliical as my potential to contribute...I guess I'll kjust talk about how I projected my own races, voted, and bought merchandise...how I grew from 9/11 and made myself more aware.

liberalism is rampant on college campuses, if anything they would love essays that are Liberal. Unfortunately, liberal openmindedness doesnt work for conservatives, so I would not recommend writing conservative opinions or ideas

What if it was a conservative leaning college to which you are applying? In that case would it be a good or bad idea to express your conservative political views?

Since I was eleven, I was purely devoted to freedom, justice, and the American way.

Stay away from current political buzzwords like "a woman's right to choose," but do mention you favor women's rights.

And even if liberalism prevails at colleges, admissions officers sometimes don't share the same values as the students do.
