essay credibility

just curious, how do colleges even check if someone's essay is not like copied or anything?

Well, if your essay does not reflect your SAT/ACT writing score/your english grades, it raises a few red flags. (as in the essay is better than your SAT/English grades)

The correct answer is that they usually can't or won't. Essays should be personal and such, copying one really ain't gonna help.

actually according to an admissions rep in our area. Applicants they want to accept, they Google phrases...

Plus, when they're not going over apps, they recieve rigorous training on spotting copied ideas, themes, etc. They read all those essays online they can get...andmore.
