SOS!!! Horrible Recommendation LETTER!!!

My recommendation to get into the Governor's Scholar Program is horrible! It was a questionairre type of recommendation, where a question is asked and the teacher comments on the student. The sample recommendation letters consist of like a paragraph per question but my teacher only wrote ONE SENTENCE on a few questions!!!! I don't know what to do, I really wanted to be in this program! I have another recommendation letter from another teacher which will be better, but I have to send in two recommendations! The application is due on Monday! What should I do!!! HELP MEEEE!!!

I had three teachers leave my high school.... I would have asked one of those three for a recommendation! One of those teachers retired, could I ask her???? She's done a recommendation for me before.

I think it would be fine to ask a retired teacher. However, do it ASAP; remember their is a possibility it won't be done by Monday. I'm sorry that the rec you possess does not completely satisfy you, but remember that short length isn't inherently bad; it is the content of the one sentence.
