Common App Short Answer
I know it says 150 words or less but that is soo hard, is 235 horrible? Could someone read mine and help? Does it hurt to go over?

i don't think it hurts your application. If you need all 235 words to explain why you love your activity, I think it is justified. I would suggest that you look it over once more and see if there is any additional stuff in the short answer that isn't really necessary.

btw, mine was over too...if that helps and the adcoms didn't mind.
