Need help with USC essay

Newton's First Law of Motion states that an object in motion tends to stay in motion in the same direction unless acted upon by an external force. Tell us about an external influence (a person, an event, etc.) that affected you and how it caused you to change direction.

I am having a hard time coming up with a topic. I want to write about my friend and how he had helped me with grades, but wouldn't it be too common. What if I wrote about how he helped me get a girl? Please help me come up with a topic that would wow the officers. I have done alot over my junior year, so feel free to shout out anything because I might have done it.

Thanks

How about if you first make a personal list of events, people, etc. that meet the requirements of the prompt? Just meet the requirements, nothing more.

Simply brainstorm to come up with a list. Take your time.

Then, take a day or two to mull over your list. After that day or two, see if a general plan starts to become clear to you.

Girl, perhaps. If you make it humorous with your character shining through.
