how does writing an essay about global warming (as common app essay on issue) sound if i have NUMEROUS compelling personal tie ins, culminating in why I want to be a scientist/engineer.
I think if you make it flow, then it would sound good. Just make sure to don't sway to far from the actual prompt. If the prompt is about global warming, make sure your tie ins relate to that.
