I'll second ADad's recommendation
The Bauld book is a winner.

Are there any other good admission essay books or web sites?

I think I might get the Bauld book. I think Amazon had it for around $2.

I've read five or so, and they all boil down to: "write an essay about YOU. If someone else could write it, they have."

Besides, don't spend the money. Check out your local library. Mine had a whole shelf on college essay writing.
