Common APP Short Answer NEED Help!

My short answer on the common application is 250 words but it says it should be 150 words or less, is this a major problem?

It won't fit into the text box if it is over 150......Do a preview and print to see...It will probably cut off....

yeah it fits but I am just concerned that it is a little too long, is that a big factor.

Since they specifically ask for 150 words or fewer I would take a look at your essay again and see where you can eliminate words without losing the meaning of your statement. Yes, the box will allow more than 150 words, but since following directions is part of the process, I'd recommend trying to trim it as much as you can. Feel free to pm it to me if you'd like me to see if I can help. I am a parent, not a student, and my kids are or have been (graduated) at Wash U and the University of Chicago (two of them).
