Essay about my favourite movie--will it bomb?

It is a eightees movie that I loved since I saw it four years ago and learnt a lot from it. My point is---is it too risky to write about a movie?

i dont think its risky if the movie had a significant impact on how it shaped your life. But i also think it'd be helpful if you could tie in the movie with examples of how it affected your daily life.

btw what movie is it called?
