Hey guys! I'm new to CC and I just realized how helpful this forum was. (No I don't intend to steal essays/ideas just because of my low post count).

I was planning on starting my essays today, so I would greatly appreciate hints and tips for the UC Essay Prompts.

Here they are if you are uncertain of what they are:

#1) Describe the world you come from — for example, your family, community or school — and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.

#2) Tell us about a personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution or experience that is important to you. What about this quality or accomplishment makes you proud and how does it relate to the person you are?

those prompts are so broad that you can pretty much talk about anything that interests you or affects you in a particular way. Maybe write about what makes you an individual, in respects to what you are and what you'd like to be. It is up to you, so write an essay that shows whatever your passionate about or an essay that reveals a part of you
