Additional Information

I plan on writing a short answer about how colleges should look over my low gpa and sat scores and look at my character and unique talents and qualities.I plan to talk about why they need me. Is this a good idea?

IMHO, i dont think it's a good idea.. only because you should be able to reveal your true personality and convince them to overlook your poor numbers through the personal essay.

Don't tell what the colleges what they should think. That would give them the impression that you are pushy.

Make sure you talk about yourself, not what they should look over. Make your essay personal, but not pushy.
