is anyone on? I have a quick question about my essay

Essays are due tonight and i got a quick question about my common app transfer essay.
*Please provide a statement (250 words minimum) that addresses your reasons for transferring and the objectives you hope to achieve.

I open up my essay talking about how everyone is fearing the future in my highschool. After that, i say why everyone is scared (school did not place that much importance on its academic portfolio). Another reason is constant tensions between crews or gangs. I was involved in this for my first two years, but would i mention that and state that i tried making the most of my last 2 years or would i still focus on why the student body feared the future after graduation?

I later will move onto how in college, when i was hired as a math tutor i began to just straighten out and get serious.
