what a scholarship would "mean to you"
Writing some last-minute apps to local scholarships here. What do you do with scholarships that aren't that much more descriptive beyond their requirements? Unlike writing an essay for a school X, for some of these scholarships, it seems hard to tailor an essay for a specific donor's scholarship ... (local ones, not big awards or anything).

I also have a rough essay concerning my quest for multicultural bridges and how it has led me to the field of linguistics, especially that I intend to modify for use in bigger scholarships -- does anyone want to offer feedback? I wanted to fit in the circumstances of family's dire financial straits and how we have dealt with it, but I didn't have the time (especially not to weave it in a way that would prove harmonious).
