Read my college essay?

It's entitled, "Greatness requires misanthropy."

Just some general concerns:

1. Is it too un-traditional?
2. Do I sound pretentious or overwrought?
3. Am I being too general?

I'll PM those who ask.

I can help you out. I'll edit/give feedback. I swear, I won't disclose anything (after all, I'm done.)

PM it. =]

Er, Sethosayer, follow Aspen D's advice. Nothing against you bestdev, but you're still a transfer doing apps...and it's a bit dubious.

Quote:
2. Be wary of posters that have a low post count
3. Do a little research on the person you're PM-ing your essay to. Does this person only have posts in this essay section, do they help out others, have they been ont his board in various places for a while, how much general knowledge do they have?

You can PM it to me. I'll help. (I'm done with college essays by the way, so don't fear it being plagiarized).

In response to your overall questions:

1 - No, but follow my PMed criticism
2 - No
3 - No, it was very vivid and detailed
