quite honestly, it sounds like you swallowed a thesaurus. You need to work on word choice-concentrating on using the right words for the sake of flow and style, not just because they are big and impressive. Some of the vocabulary takes away from your voice. It is easy enough for anybody to use a thesaurus, but sometimes the more sophisticated words just don't match with the rest of the essay.
But the topics you picked, I felt, were very heartfelt and sincere. Overall, they were good essays
