Which is the best hook?

Which one gets you most interested?

1. On the other side of the world lives a fifteen-year-old boy who thinks he is my cousin.

2. For my entire life, I have kept a secret.

3. Every summer, I am forced to lie.

Either first or third. I really couldn't say without knowing where you're going with it.

I kinda dislike them all. They all sound like steryotypical college essay hooks, witch of course means they aren't actually hooks at all
