Short Response Essay Question

My brainstroming for this question is leaving me brainfrozen. brainstorming/topic tips?

Short Response (Required)
Directions: Choose one of the following two topics and write a short essay. Maximum length of 250-500 words

The University of Washington seeks to create a community of students richly diverse in cultural backgrounds, experiences, and viewpoints. How would you contribute to this community?

Write about something you've done and then tie it into the message they are asking. remember, diversity can mean any number of aspects of differences. Race, religion, socio-economic, are all common, but so are gender issues, politics, age, culture, attitude, clothing style, hair....you name it. What's most important to start: use something you did or participated in or believe in. Then write what you did that made it better.
