Lunatic

On the common app. they give a minimum number of words for the essay: 250, but I don't see a maximum. I have an essay that is about 2000 words that is really good, but I doubt that it is short enough. So, is there an official maximum legnth, and if not a recomended maximum limit. I would appreciate youre help.

Almost everyone (including admissions officers) says that it should be about 500 words. 700 is pretty alright but 1000 is almost always too long. Par it down as much as you can.
