"person who influenced you" prompt
What is this prompt really asking? Should one describe another person? Describe one's relationship to another person - so as to reveal one's history -?

What do they want to learn through this essay?

Help! Please.

an essay prompt that wants to know who influenced you the most is really asking who made you the person you are today. Who taught you all you know, or stood behind you and gave you the most support in all that you do... that kind of thing... If you give a history of the person who influenced you the most a college probably wouldn't even think twice about the applicant, they want to know who YOU are and who influenced You to be the person you are today
