bad idea to talk about religion, sexuality, politics?
i'm assuming "yes". but just wanted to make sure. there was something in one of my essays about a friend and i "crusading for bisexual rights". but i guess this would be bad to put in there?
It all depends on the delivery and context. I'd generally avoid blatant religious/sexual/political statements, but they can be very well played sometimes.
but overall, would you advise me not to put it if i don't have to? like...only mention stuff like that if it's absolutely necessary? or could it conversely provide info about causes i'm passionate about and be a good thing?
I wrote one of my essays on my sexuality. Well, I wrote about coming out, and how it sorta changed me. It was pretty well-written in my opinion (lol), and I avoided controversial issues, and kept a nice tone of the essay
