Can I use the Princeton essay for Yale?????

Hello,

I am finishing my Princeton essay " Some questions cannot be answered./ They become familiar weights in the hand,/ Round stones pulled from the pocket, unyielding and cool".
I am also applying to Yale, and they are asking for another essay which may be whatever you choose it to be. So, what do you think, will it be all right if I send in my Princeton Supplement Essay for Yale????(((())))

Please advise....)))))))))) I am really in the dark))))

Thanks a loooooooot

well, you might be able to use the essay, i think it depends on how much you made your essay "wrap" around the quote. even if the admission ppl at yale don´t exactly know the prompt, i don´t think they would react too positively if you give them an essay where a quote from a princeton alumna is the main theme. if you only used it as a jumping off point as suggested, it is probably quite easy to make it look like you did not use this quote... either way, i don´t think rubbing them in the face that you didn´t write two essays is a good idea. they will well be aware that most students submit one and the same application (i am) but you should not be able to tell from the way your essay is written.

if you have time to write another essay...why not, don't think the risk of them finding out even though the chances of it happening are close to none.
