should this section be just a few sentences or can i write a lot here? Back in November when I filled out the Ohio State application it encourages you to write as much as possible for the additional information section, so I wrote a 220 word paragraph about why my grades suck and why I dont have a job. But I realized for the common application it doesn't really encourage you to write as much as possible. And I read from a few websites writing alot might make the reader think you are complaining too much. So what should I do? Should I copy and paste the 210 word paragraph to the common application? Or should I shorten it so that it doesn't seem like I am complaining too much?
The additional information area is for things, as it says, that don't belong on the rest of the app, for example-- extra ec's, volunteering events, or anything worth mentioning (sudden drop in grades, etc), and NOT for you to just write as much as you can, in fact if possible don't write an essay.
